jeff's web corner

I'm still alive and jeff's web corner has just have been migrated from drupal 4.7 (used for the last five years) to drupal 6.15. And with this second life comes a new theme.

In fact, I had to wrote a php script to do the job because the standard way has just broke my drupal installation. The code is available "as is" in the code section.

I'm really pleased to announce that I'm the happy owner of a new fresh account @ media temple to host deepbass.net : The migration will be planned very soon.

The domain www.e-volution.be will host the official site for my web development services as a part time drupal consultant.

For the next 15 days, I'm on holidays. I'm going to start my own company but as part time worker, I'm still working at my daily job. My goal ? Offering drupal custom web development services and why not android development ? A lot of ideas and dreams.

Je ne sais pas si vous avez remarqué dans le module météo, mais la barre des 20 degrés a été franchi récemment sur la magnifique île de crète. D'ailleurs cette année, je me demande, si je ne vais pas y retourner. La dernière fois, c'était en 2002, ca serait d'ailleurs l'occasion de refaire des photos avec mon eos300d. A l'époque, j'avais un sony cybershot, un chouette appareil pour démarre dans la photo numérique mais il faut avouer que l'image était correcte mais sans plus. Qui dit crète dit bien sur visites culturelles, salades, poissons en tout genre, bronzette et bien sur cocktails fruités ou légèrement alcolisés avec en fond sonore le bruit des vagues s'échouants sur le sable. Rien que d'y penser, ca me rappelle pleins d'excellents souvenirs.

Et moi qui espérait pouvoir prendre quelques photos sympas avec le nouvel objectif de mon canon eos300d, ca sera pour l'année prochaine.

I'm currently upgrading my website to drupal 5.5, it means also an update of the existing theme and a new one to start the new coming year. I will share the results in the download section.

The weather module is also almost finished, I'm working on the ajax side of tool to help user to find easily the city code. I will certainly host a webservice on my server to centralize the city code database wich contains more than 40 000 city codes across the world. So, as you can see many projects for 2008 about drupal.

Last but not least, I also wish to go back again in Canada next summer, it will be a good opportunity to take a deeep breath. Spending more time in the nature ...
