The latest days, I had a lot of fun playing with zope and of course python a really cool object oriented programming language.
Having a lot of free time, I try to use it efficiently.

Après les épreuves de natation, j'attendais avec impatience le triathlon homme. C'est donc enfin ce jeudi 26 août à 10h locale (GMT+2) que l'on aura la chance de suivre cet épreuve des plus difficiles. J'ai énormément de respect envers ces athlètes enchainant 1,5km à la nage (libre), 40kms de vélo et 10km à pied. Les meilleurs finissent en moins de 2h.
Ces gens sont évidemment super entrainés, on ne se lance pas dans ce genre d'exercice sans entrainement adapté.

Jusqu'à présent, il est possible de poster via un outil de blog classique vers drupal grâce au module "blogapi" qui implémente les api de blogger, metaWebLog ainsi que Moveabletype. C'est bien joli tout ça, et surtout un bon début.
Seulement drupal offre bien plus de possibilités que de gérer un simple blog.
On pourrait imaginer un module qui expose un service web(xml-rpc) permettant de poster blogs, news, story, weblink en fonction des modules autorisés pour un user spécifique.
Coté client, une application dédiée pour drupal écrite en java permettrait d'éditer du contenu et de poster très facilement.

I red on the Garoo blog the existence of the "chat and go" service and I decided to try it.

The studio section has now his radio blog, some great quotes about music added.
The next remix will be "Angel on shoulder", always in his electronic version but made with studio quality sounds coupled with my own vision.

Après le résumé des JO et les images hors du commun des performances Ian Thorpe et Phelps (en natation pour ceux qui n'auraient pas percutés ;o)), je suis tombé sur un concert de Radiohead qui passait dans l'émission live session sur MCM.
J'adore l'ambiance qu'ils arrivent à créer avec un mix acoustique et électronique assez original. La voix hallucinante de Thom Yorke qui vous transporte, une présence sur scène malgré le dépouillement niveau décor et éclairage. Une démonstration magistrale où la musique parle d'elle-même. Un pur moment de bonheur.
La version karma police véritablement magique. Que du bonheur !!!

Pourquoi me gêner ? Avec mes 20Go de bande passante inutilisés par mois.
Voilà donc mon radio blog en ligne, attention la peinture est encore toute fraiche ... :o) J'espère que vous apprécierez ! J'ai essayé d'y mettre un panel représentatif des musiques qui me font jumper dans tous les sens.
Tout cela étant bien sur exhaustif, mais j'essaierai d'ajouter au fur et à mesure d'autres morceaux.
J'attends vos réactions (positive ou négative), c'est vraiement mort par ici :( snifffEn cas d'explosion réelle de la bande passante j'aviserai évidemment, mais c'est peu probable.

I've upgraded my apache2 with php5 support and it seems that drupal is not at all fully compatible with this new version.
Some fatal errors are displayed, the code of the node module must be adapted.I will have to go back to my last config to be able to use drupal locally. I will go to the drupal's forum to know if some patches are available.
I know that drupal 4.5.0 is planed to be realeased at the beginning the september but the code is already freezed, so I don't expect to some PHP5 fixes with the next drupal's version, unfortunately.

I wish to rent or even better buy a new appartment at the end of the year.

Currently, I'm discovering how to write a webservice with .net platform (c#) and php (xml-rpc).
I'm also still continue working for the linux ntfs project, focused on the import of the sourceforge forum items to drupal's forum.

Je suis bluffé suite à mon premier essai de développement d'une application avec le framework .net.
En l'espace d'une heure, j'ai écris un petit utilitaire ftp et listé les fichiers se trouvant chez mon hébergeur.
Je dois dire que j'avais déjà essayé de créer quelque chose avec swing sur la platforme java et ce fut une épreuve douloureuse tant les outils de développement proposés n'aide pas à la productivité. De plus, je n'aime pas du tout les interfaces des application swing.
Ca n'est évidemment que le reflet de mon avis personnel, cela ne remettant pas en cause la puissance (et complexité) de java.

I've started to write a sample application : a little tool to make some mortgage simulations.
In fact, my first application ever using the .net framework.
I'm still have to implement the localization for the interface, finish to write the computation routines and make some code cleaning.
Once finished, I will put the source code under GPL and will share it in my downloads section.

I've migrated all my e-mail accounts to mozilla. I cross my fingers and hope to get stability. All seems to be ok. I removed my old e-mail client with joy. :))

J'ai loué quelques DVD histoire de peut-être tomber sur un film original. Et je suis tombé sur "High Art", un film de 1998 réalisé par Lisa Cholodenko. Et pour un premier film c'est un vrai petit chef d'oeuvre. Un de ces films loin de la soupe habituelle Hollywodienne. On peut y voir des personnages attachants évoluant dans le milieu artistique. J'aime ces films d'auteur où il y a des dialogues, parfois des silences également qui en disent long.
